I started photographing weddings part-time in 1985 while working full-time
as an aircraft mechanic for the Federal Government. Fortunately in 1995 I was able to get an "early" retirement due to defense cutbacks. After I retired, a friend told me about a weeklong class with a photographer named "Monte Zucker". His class kicked me in the rear and got me going in the right direction. Since then I joined the Florida Professional Photographers, the Professional Photographers of America and my local guild in Jacksonville PPSNF. I have received awards on local, state and national levels. Last year I was awarded one of the "Top Ten" photographers in the state by the Florida Professional Photographers. Also last year I received my Certification from the Professional Photographers of America. I am currently working towards my Masters.
While at Florida School last year I took a David Ziser class where I learned about ProShots. ProShots has been a great tool for the growth of our business. We photograph with film and use ProShots to take us into the digital world. Our sales have increased, our album design, layout, and print ordering take less time and is more impressive to our clients. We are now able to create and sell musical CD slide shows and Thank You cards using ProShots. ProShots has opened up a new and exciting world for us and we have been recommending it to all of our photographer friends.
